As summer goes by， have you ever noticed crickets’ chirping， singing， chorussing at night， everywhere ~~
眼看夏天就要過去了，小寶貝們有沒有注意到每天晚上蟋蟀唧唧叫，黃河大合唱的聲音呢？
They are actually not singing through their mouth。 It’s from their wings！
其實它們不是在用嘴巴唱歌，而是利用了它們的小翅膀！
Each cricket’s wing has jagged edges。
蟋蟀的兩隻翅膀下長著一排細細的鋸齒邊。
By rubbing its wings， the sounds come out and that’s how they sing。
透過兩排鋸齒的摩擦，它們就開始歌唱啦。
There are many different opinions about why they keep singing。
關於它們唱歌的原因眾說紛紜。
Some say they are expressing their love。 Others say they are frightening invaders。
有的人說它們是在表達愛意，也有的人說它們是在恐嚇侵略者。
But for whatever reason， they are certainly the symbol of summer。
不管怎麼說，它們已經標誌著夏天的開始和結束了。
