On two occasions did you bring smiles to the faces of strangers close to you on the way to the supermarket in morning。 “Mummy， they smiled at me。 Why did they smile？” you asked mummy。 Mummy told you that was because you had cut such a lovely figure。 “You held the door for them， and you helped mummy lug the trolley。 Everyone likes kids ready to help， not those who cry，& mummy explained。 ”I‘m so lovely，“ you intoned in a drawl， your face creasing into a radiant smile。

上午媽媽帶你去超市，有兩撥人衝你笑。“媽媽，他們朝我笑呢，他們為什麼笑呢？”你問媽媽。媽媽說那是因為你特別可愛。“你幫他們開門，還幫媽媽拉購物車。大家都喜歡願意幫忙的孩子，不喜歡哭的，”媽媽解釋道。“我好可愛，”你拖長聲音一本正經地說，臉上綻放出燦爛的笑容。
