What's this story about?
Dad noticed a house for sale that would be just right for the family。 He took everyone to look round the house。 Biff and Chip choosed their rooms and Kipper found a tree house in the garden。 Everyone was happy - even Floppy liked it！
爸爸留意到有處房子正在出售，他覺得這處房子很適合家人居住，所以就領著大家四處觀看。Biff和Chip各自選好了自己的房間，而Kipper則在花園裡發現了一個樹屋。每個人都很高興，就連Floppy也很喜歡這處房子。
Actually in this house many strange things would happen。 For example the magic key was found somewhere in this house， and then the children started many exciting adventures。
在這座房子裡將會發生許多奇怪的事情，比如我們都熟悉的魔法鑰匙就是在這裡被發現的，孩子們也就此展開了各種各樣的大冒險。
Talk together
Look at the picture on the cover。 If the child has ever moved house， talk to him/her about their last house。 Look through the pictures to see what happens in the story。

Read the story
Page 5， show the child that ‘wallpaper’ is made up from ‘wall’ and ‘paper’。
第5頁，告訴孩子wallpaper是由wall和paper兩個單詞構成的。
Page 8， notice that ‘bedroom’ is made up from ‘bed’ and ‘room’。
第8頁，注意bedroom是由bed和room構成的。
Talk about what Kipper did in each room in the house。

Ask the child to read the story to you。
