Zhan Bohui， Guangdong’s outstanding social scientist， famous linguist， and professor of the Chinese Department of JNU， has devoted himself to the linguistic research。
廣東省首屆優秀社會科學家、著名語言學家、暨大中文系教授詹伯慧長期紮根學術研究。
Over the past ten years， not only has he consistently promoted Mandarin， but also he and his team have conducted in-depth investigations into dialects such as Min， Canton， Hakka， etc。， so that the neglected Cantonese dialect research could become more and more popular。
數十年來，他一以貫之推廣普通話，同時，他和團隊深入調查閩、粵、客等方言，使過去長期無人問津的廣東方言研究“荒地”越來越少。
Zhan Bohui， being at his old age， is still working hard on the front line of academic research to contribute to Chaozhou’s cultural construction。
已至耄耋之年的詹伯慧，現仍奮戰在學術研究一線，為潮州文化建設發揮餘光餘熱。
